Caregiver Part Time NEW

Description

We are seeking an experienced, observant and trustworthy caregiver to provide in-home care for an elderly woman. The successful candidates will be responsible for meal preparations, light housekeeping, medication administration and always fostering a safe and healthy environment. 

Responsibilities

 Personal Care

1.       Mobility Assistance: Help client to walk, stand, enter or exit vehicles when necessary

2.       Ensure daily routines are maintained (eg. Hygiene, feeding, medication administration)

3.       Prepare and serve food based on age and nutritional needs

4.       Arrange transportation and accompany client to doctor’s visit when needed

 Household Chores

1.       Assist in grocery shopping

2.       Performing Light housekeeping

3.       Assist with Laundry and maintaining a clean, safe and healthy living environment

Requirements

1.       Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in healthcare/ care for the elderly

2.       Certification in CPR training and First Aid training would be an asset 

3.       Excellent communication skills

4.       Able-bodied

5.       Driver’s license is preferred
