Description

The Baton Guard is responsible for assisting with the protection of property, assets and compliance with security and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Screens all visitors to Guyoil’s premises, confirms identification and clearance to enter facility in strict accordance with established entry procedures

• Patrols parameter of premises to guard against unauthorized entry, theft, and vandalism

• Logs entry, exit and movement of personnel and visitors to building as per established security protocols

• Monitors electronic security equipment to observe/review movement of persons and vehicles in compound

• Perform checks and vehicles searches to prevent illegal entry and movement of items

• Participate in emergency response procedures in situations of unusual occurrences, accidents and other emergencies

• Provides escort to Executive Management as required

• May be accorded Supernumerary Police Status

Requirements

• Post Primary School Education. Must be literate and numerate in order to maintain security book logs

• Vigilant, courteous, team player and committed to role as a Baton Guard

• Prior work experience in same or similar capacity is highly desirable

• Ability to perform in regulated environment, and enhance skill through training programmes
