Trainee Quality & Safety Officer Full Time NEW

Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for the timely completion of all tasks identified in the internal Quality/Safety Audit Schedule, including conducting audits of the Organisation’s facilities, equipment, and procedures as agreed with the Quality/Safety Manager across the Maintenance, Technical Records, Library, Stores, and Training Departments.

Responsibilities

  • Attend the following meetings:

    • General Staff Meeting (quarterly)

    • Unit Meetings

    • Quality/Safety Meetings

  • Conduct a programme of audits on the Organisation’s facilities, equipment, Maintenance, Technical Records, Library, Stores, and Training Departments, and carry out external audits on suppliers as agreed with the Quality/Safety Manager.

  • Prepare audit reports and follow up on such reports in accordance with the agreed procedures.

  • Assist with the compilation of all amendments to the Aircraft Maintenance Schedules, the Organisation’s Maintenance Procedures Manual, and the SMS Manual.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) subjects at GCE (grades C or above) or CXC (grades I–III), including English Language and Mathematics. Physics and other science subjects would be an asset.

  • Auditor training would be an advantage.

  • SMS (Safety Management System) training.

Salary
